Walking I get. But power walking? Why not just run for a shorter time?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Puppies just got boinged. Say goodbye to anything on ustream for a while...

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

List of those who SUCK:

You forgot to put your name at the top of the list.

Nope--I'm looking at the official list as I type, and I got it right.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

How can you be from Hawaii and not drink coffee? That's just wrong.

I think Becker is a strawberry blonde.

That's what I would say.

I love watching little kids speak foreign languages. My brain goes "that little girl can speak French!" though logically, of course she can speak French. She IS French!

That girl is actually speaking really good French, she has a great vocabulary (despite mispronouncing chicken pox) and even uses the passé simple at one point. Of course, even though no one uses it in conversation, it is probably used in her storybooks, but still. SO CUTE!!

ETA: Happy Birthday, Hil!!!

And don't forget "popotamus"! So adorable! (And I'd agree that she'd be one of those amazingly, precociously verbal kids no matter what language she grew up with. Proto-buffista in the wild.)

Punishingly Intricate

Megan, what is the French for hippopatamus? It sounded nearly the same as the English word but not quite.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

OK - not sure exactly what the puppies are doing right now, and probably don't want to. It looked like wrasslin' at first, but now...
