On my seventh birthday, I wanted a toy fire truck, and I didn't get it, and you were real nice about it, and then the house next door burnt down, and then real firetrucks came, and for years I thought you set the fire for me. And if you did, you can tell me!

Punishingly Intricate

What I love most about the behind the scenes election night photos are all the comments from around the world. Every one I've read has been very rah rah OBAMA!

#10!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I didn't even realize Natter was just about to end. I think my brain is fried.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Nice name.

Now tagless for your comfort.

This election night photo brought me to tears yet again.

I think it sounds nuts but it still hasn't quite sunk in for me. Pictures like this choke me up and make me realize that BARACK OBAMA WON.

Coding and Sleeping

I didn't even realize Natter was just about to end. I think my brain is fried.

That was one of the most stealthy approaches to 10,000 I've ever seen.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Nice name.

It was a mandate from the people.

Err, at least two people.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I think Gud is right. The Electoral vote was a blow-out but popular vote nsm and the economy is not going to bounce back fast. People have short memories and like to blame, so I don't think the GOP is in all that bad of shape. I do, however, think that they will hurt rather than help themselves if the leadership of the party tries to cater to the Palin base. I think that base is a shrinking pot in America.
