Spike's Bitches 43: Who am I kidding? I love to brag.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Ack, that's a lot of papers, Shir. Good luck with all that stuff.

Healing~ma for Raq, and not-so-freaked~ma for Mal.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, Raq--quick healing to you, and calm to little Mal.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Raq, I'm so glad to hear your hub was able to tap into his diplomatic training at such an awful time!

Healing~ma to Raq and calm~ma to Mal.

So much this.

Hwy. 1, which is twisty turny twisty turny, and may cause quease;

Yet SO MUCH fun on the motorcycle. (But yes, quease-inducing at times. Also quease-inducing, Hwy 1 into Big Sur.)

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Oh, I love the PCH! I guess it takes a lot to get me queasy, because I take any excuse to drive it instead of the 101. It's very slow going because of the curves, and sometimes it feels like you're going to slide right over the edge into the ocean, but that's the thrill of it. And this from someone who doesn't do heights.

Punishingly Intricate

re: the PCH.

Hubby was driving a Forest Service firetruck there sometime in the 70s when he was passed by a tire and hub assembly. At the same time, he realized that said tire and hub had come off of one of the rear axles of his firetruck. After several seconds of very careful driving, he found a turn off.

I pretty much trust him driving anything, when his drugs aren't playing with his brain.
