Yeah, I did that in one of my classes. Gotta love teaching college kids. I just slipped a reference to goatse into the lecture. Half the kids made an ick sound, the other half were confused. I told them to consult with each other and went on with my lecture.

I did e-mail my boss, and I haven't heard back from her, so I'm a little nervous. I'm sure it's fine, but I'd feel a little better if she'd let me know that! Oh, well. I'll find out at work today!

{{Bitches}} When I lived in Buffalo, one of my professors had a lecture he'd give right around the 1st of February about how no one should make important decisions, judgments, etc., about life in February - the weather is bad, there's not enough sunlight, and if you hold off for a month you might very well see signs of Spring (less likely in Buffalo). In good news, I get to see Sox & family this weekend. My DH invested in new balloons (for balloon animals) in the hope that Iris would ask him for one or two or ten.

I heard back from my boss. Actually, I just chatted with her on IM. She said, "Oh, please! If that's the most offensive game the kids hear about at school, we're in good shape." Phew! And, she told me to breathe. Heh.
