Mal: Then I call it a win. What's the problem? Inara: Should I start with the part where you're stranded in the middle of nowhere, or the part where you have no clothes?

'Trash'

Spike's Bitches 43: Who am I kidding? I love to brag.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Still Doesn't Know What She Wants to Be When She Grows Up

You better figure it out before the socialism.

Shit, man! You're right, but there's ALREADY so many things I want to do before the socialism!

My sister was just majorly upgraded to something like "Sergeant Commander" rank/title, WITHOUT having to do 3 months command course, because she's so awesome at her army job!!!

Now THAT? Is made of awesome!

Always Anti-fascist!

I thought I would be something by now, but I'm not. Of course, it's not all because of me. Some is The Man. That doesn't make it easier.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

In the immortal words of Lily Tomlin, "All my life I've always wanted to be somebody. But I see now I should have been more specific." At this point, "When I grow up I want to be an old woman."

That drugging incident is scary, Omnis. Is it being investigated?

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I totally ditched school this afternoon. Drunk and disorderly on Saturday, ditching class on Monday - what's become of me?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Drunk and disorderly on Saturday

And LITTERING! Don't forget the littering.

You're a rebel. And you'll never ever be any good. But it's the littering that'll have you on the Group W bench.

Compassionately intolerant

"All my life I've always wanted to be somebody. But I see now I should have been more specific."

I use this ALL the time.

And too that end, Steph. Drop me a line and I'll e-you a fairly simple worksheet on developing a personal mission statement.

Wait! Before everybody winces and assumes I'm going all Tony Robbins, it's not like that. Getting some clarity on what is important to you means that you get to take a huge amount of stuff off your possibility list.

We get paralyzed by freedom, in a way, because there are so many things we...as smart people...CAN do, but there are only a few things that one SHOULD do in order to feel fulfilled and satisfied. (those two words mean very different things, believe it or not)

Saying yes to something means saying no to some other stuff. Doing so...as Buffy might say...simples things up SO much.

The invitation is open to anyone interested in that little extra bit of clarity.

I've had an embarrassing (or used to be embarrassing) number of vocations in my life, ranging from penguin wrangler to consultant to gov't agencies. One of the things that gives me the greatest sense of joy in my life is knowing that I'm now doing EXACTLY what is right for me. And, I believe, making the world a better place as a result.

I can't tell you the number of folks I've done career counseling for who have gone on to similar satisfaction. This shit works, I tell ya.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

there was talk of filing a report with the cops. But being 2 of the boys are straight, and it's a gay bar, and the third was the one arrested for DUI and possession of pot. I'm guessing not. We shall see.

Now tagless for your comfort.

erika, I see your boyfriend got his contract extended with MSNBC. I hope The View was worth the watch. *shudder*

I enjoy hearing him announce football, by the way.
