River: You're not right, Early. You're not righteous. You've got issues. Early: No. Oh, yes, I could have that. You might have me figured out, then. Good job. I'm not 100%.

Spike's Bitches 43: Who am I kidding? I love to brag.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What I want to know is when is someone going to come up with a heated steering wheel?

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Hmm, how do you address a letter to someone that you know is female, but you don't know who it is? I ask because I'm writing a recommendation letter for a student for a sorority, so I can't just call and get a name. Normally, you'd do "dear sir or madam" Is it appropriate to say "dear madam". I don't like "to whom it may concern", that just sounds impersonal.

Our wings are not tired.

I love the seat warmers and it isn't even cold here. The kids like the warm buns too.

Health ~ma where needed, including Casper.

I am very stuffed up. It is more likely allergy than a cold. The parents went to buy me drugs.

Punishingly Intricate

It's Friday and BSG premieres tonight! Woot!

Oh! I need to remember to tape that.

And, just getting caught up after days away, I wanted to say, Brenda, I'm so sorry for your loss.

How about Dear Sistah, okay maybe madam is more appropriate.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Feel better~ma to all who need it. And keep warm, by any means. And by any means, I mean sex.

I have 2 papers to write this weekend. Started none, and I'm almost in the middle of it already. But I have to be brilliant and profound the whole fucking week. Can't I get the weekend off to be dumb?
On my menu: Foucault (dude, what's up with all of the extra letters in your name? We say it Fuko, I expect it to be written Fuko, Just as in Hebrew, OK?) and a sociological analysis of the Ethiopian community in Israel.

Kill me now. Or send some sex. Or food. Or the 4th season of Dr. Who. Answering the later request will dismiss the first three ones.

::Buried in articles, with a only a pen to defend herself::

Oh, speaking of pens? 11 weeks into the first semester, I already used up 3 pens. Had to buy new ones this week.

Heh. I go through at least a pen a week when I'm in class.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

This sounds really interesting.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

This sounds really interesting.

Sounds interesting to me, too.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

We had a two-hour delay today (for cold, as it dropped forty degrees yesterday), which made me reeeeaaaally happy. Yay sleep! Also, I got a manicure, so yay nails! Shiny and silver!

But I've already had four students tell me they lost/forgot/left at home/never got the notes they need for this test. Which they had two separate opportunities to request last week. Dude, what IS that? I think next grading period I'm going to say, as engineers/architects you will absolutely be expected to keep track of your papers, so from now on you keep 'em or you do without.

That's my happy sunshine first-world problems post. I'm wishing the best for everybody.
