So glad to hear you got home safe.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

{{GC & DW}} No beating yourself up. None. You did very smart things - you got in touch with your friends (by the way, go team bitches) and you stayed safe. Both excellent choices. Things happen - and this has been a heck of a week. You are loved. Now drink some water.
Also, what Plei said.
Wow. I just got online this morning and discovered the whole GC and DW story. Not that I could have done much if I'd come by earlier, being in NC and all. GC, I hope you and DW feel ok when you wake up today. And I'm sorry this week has been so stressful. Booze seems like a perfectly reasonable response to it all—I'm glad you got a cab at the end.
Wow. I got scared when I saw 200 messages since I went to bed last night.
GC, listen to me, honey. When you come check in this morning, I want you to know how absolutely proud of you I am. YOU DIDN'T DRIVE, and you sought out help when you were panicking about what to do. And, ultimately, you got home safe and sound. {{{GC and DW}}} Hang in there, honey. Today may not be fun, but you'll get through. So much love to you both.
Yay for cab ride. I was hoping there would be good news of you and DW being safely home when I got up, GC.
Honey, I will beat you up if you try to beat yourself up about this tomorrow, for lo, the week was a roller coaster ride of good and bad, and sometimes, booze happens.
This. Well, mostly this. I won't beat you up (verbally, I'm assuming), for lo, I have an odd sense of humor that usually comes across better in person when people can see my facial expressions.
Guess I'm not the only one who utterly freaked when they got on this morning and saw 200+ messages. But damn, I love the Buffistas like mad.
GC, don't you dare be embarrassed about this. In all ways, you did the right things-- you were aware enough not to drive, you kept talking to people who would keep you grounded, and you finally got a cab home.
My one drunk story is my freshman year of college. I was trying to walk on the walls because I was convinced it was the floor.
I still don't drink screwdrivers to this day.
Aw, GC- I'm so glad you didn't drive and that you got home safe. This has been a really emotional week for you, please don't beat yourself up about blowing off some steam. Sometimes these things just slip away from you before you know what's really going on.
Take care of yourself today - emotionally as well as physically.

So much this.
Greg drug me off to bed. I'm glad everything turned out okay.
