Pain is stupid and I don't like it.
I'm starting physical therapy next week. And I've got some drugs that take away some of the pain. Waiting for them to kick in.
Stupid shoulders.
Walking I get. But power walking? Why not just run for a shorter time?

That's the idea. Strengthen the muscles, and they'll support the joint where the ligaments and tendons are supposed to but don't, thus leading to fewer dislocations, and so fewer sprains and less pain.

We're staying in. Or we will be, once Daniel gets home from work. I have home made hot wings in the oven. When he does get home, I'll shove some store bought egg rolls and cream cheese wantons in, too. In case either of us have an urge to be healthy, there is a plethora of steam-in-pouch microwave veggies. Plus, we have chips and dip - which is my family's big tradition for New Year's Eve. We have some wine, but not sparkling. Also there is some whiskey for hot toddies and rum for hot cocoa.
