...because God knows you need some satisfaction in life besides shagging Captain Cardboard! And I never really liked you anyway. And you have stupid hair!

Spike's Bitches 43: Who am I kidding? I love to brag.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Thrive to spite them

SLNRLBF and I are celebrating New Years in .. well. .Second Life.

We are party hopping. I have some wine, he has beer. We're both comfy and also partying.

Only thing it would be better if we were together.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

You know, omnis, if I were within arm's reach of more Buffistae, I'd want to chance the bar. So I'd love to know you were taking the opportunity. But I also know the lure of Dick Clark's Rockin' Eve, and the sheer magnetism of a couch. So, whichever you choose, I hope you have a lovely time.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

That did it. Out the door I go ;)

If I wasn't such a pussy when it comes to cold, even the mild chill in the air here, it wouldn't have been such a debate.

Happy New Year's everyone!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Go to the bar with Daisy Jane & crew

Go out with DJ. She's good times.

Do not argue with me. Go. Shoo!

Hard to argue with Jilli. I mean, it can be done, but you'll lose.

Which isn't to say I am not totally lolling in the being solitary tonight, because I am. But this is the end of my Grinchmas. I am nicely sociable to family for the holidays and this is my recharge. Plus I have wine, a fire and a ridiculous tv.

BTW, Cass, it sure is good to see your font around here. I hope you have a lovely unsociable evening.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Same here. I can't deal with any more people.

Plus I have wine, a fire and a ridiculous tv.

I have beer, meds, and New Years Rocking Eve. I don't know who this blonde woman is, but she's annoying me.

Everything would be so much simpler if more people would realize and accept the truth of that statement.

Happy end of Grinchmas, Cass.

Okay, we're almost out of the house to go head to a NYE party. Have a good evening, everyone!

I had a nice NYE dinner. I got a flank steak rolled with spinach and cheese from the grocery, some fresh shrimp -- which I sauteed in garlic, shallot, parsley, and olive oil. I didn't have butter or lemon, I put some white wine, but didn't cook it off right.

Oh and zucchini and mushrooms sauteed with shallots.

Over all nummy. And I sacraficed a shrimp for the kitty. Who did not eat it.

Compassionately intolerant

Grinchmas

I'm so using that term next year.

I'm about to open the sparkling cider...still haven't accomplished the wash up from supper and am hankering to finish the book on tape I've been listening to for the last couple of days. For those playing along at home: Steel Orchid by Stuart Woods. Well read intrigue.

I feel guilty for not completing my annual cleaning and burning ritual before midnight. But honestly, I can't be fussed. Perhaps I'll have supercharged energy tomorrow.
