I know, world in peril and we have to work together. This is my last office romance, I'll tell you that.

Buffy ,'End of Days'

Spike's Bitches 43: Who am I kidding? I love to brag.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Perhaps it's at Shrift's archive? Or the glass onion?

The status is NOT quo.

Fay, have you read the fic where Donna betas the Tenth Doctor's horrid Angel/Spike slash? It is made of win. Laughed my ass off.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Much peace~ma to Shir and Nilly. And I really love the way Bitches provide distraction and helpful suggestions.

Nora, you're in my thoughts. I hope your travels are hitch-free.

In grumbles that are far less life-and-death, I suffered a grim interference in my coffee supply lines this morning. I woke up an hour late, stumbled to the pre-set coffee maker, and saw that the coffee in the carafe was strangely light. Somehow the filter got messed up so only a quarter of the coffee grounds were involved in the brew—the rest were bone dry. It was too late to make another pot, and I was too uncaffeinated to figure out what had gone wrong the first time anyway. So here I am, at the office, sucking down cup after cup of decent, but not as good as mine, coffee. As tragedies go, it's fairly not, but I'm a bit worried it's a sign of a trip-over-your-own-feet kinda day. Or week.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Poor TCG caught my Christmas cold. I can tell he's really not feeling well by admiting he actually has a cold.

(((Shir))) Peace and safety to you and your loved ones.

“Not dead yet!”

Shir, I posted up a Cabana Boy just for you in my LJ [link]

Nilly, I would've given you a specific one, but I wasn't sure which you'd like, so you can just have your pick.

Silly distraction, that, but hey, looking at the pretty is never a bad thing, right?

All is well that ends in pizza.

Distracting headline of the day:

- U.S. News & World Report

ETA: Gosh, hard to believe.

ETAA: I'm shocked! Shocked that gamboling is going on!

Barb, those pictures made me smile. I adore Mark Harmon.

I need a cabana boy to help clean up the Christmas wreckage so I can get ready for our NYE party. I don't think the hottie sleeping next to me is going to be much help.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Ah, so that's what my competition he looks like.

The foursome sounded a lot better than the radio reports over here, I'd give you that.
I'll do what I can from over here. Alas, I have to go back to work today. Blah. No fun I tell you. But thankfully, A CHRISTMAS CAROL is done. For this year at least.

Shir, Focus on what you have the ability to change, most notably your studies. The worries of your country's current situation is troublesome, but out of reach to change in the short term, alone. Say prayers and send good wishes to your friends, and get back to the books. You are your country's future. You have all of us over here vibing for you.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Much peace~ma.

I'm going back to DC today. I've still got to pack my suitcase. And I'm presenting at a math conference on January 5, and starting to get really nervous about that.
