It's all about choices, Faith. The ones we make, and the ones we don't. Oh, and the consequences. Those are always fun.

Spike's Bitches 43: Who am I kidding? I love to brag.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Andi, I didn't know you wrote fic! Go Team!

Shir, there are plenty of awesome writers right here in B.org-world. Hell, maybe do a Wiki format, where everyone gets to dabble in the story, with you having executive editor control of what stays and what goes. Why not? Group sex, group writing!

...ah, this takes me back to the old days, when the Spike's Bitch thread was littered with random bits of improvised porn involving the posters and Spike. And then random bits of fanfic NOT involving the posters - just being fanfic. Back before we had a purpose-built fanfic workshop thread.

Israel, apparently, suddenly had enough of 8 years of rocket attacks over some of its towns. Now my country fights to change the situation. But they don't say what that change they're aiming for is.

I was watching an Israeli ambassador (possibly? Or similar?) on the news yesterday, and that was the line she was selling. Which...yes, naturally I can understand the wish to change the situation. But she didn't in any way explain how this was supposed to change the situation to something better.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Back before we had a purpose-built fanfic workshop thread.

I read it at first "fanfic worship thread".

Israeli ambassador (possibly? Or similar?)

Foreign minister, Tizpi Livni?

But she didn't in any way explain how this was supposed to change the situation to something better.

My worries exactly. Also, I don't understand why now. And why these methods are being used. I also wrote about it in Natter. Gonna go there and find the link and then edit my post. Edit: Shir "Natter 62: The 62nd Natter" Dec 29, 2008 5:15:05 am PST Now I see it's the same thing, only different words I'm using.

“Not dead yet!”

...ah, this takes me back to the old days, when the Spike's Bitch thread was littered with random bits of improvised porn involving the posters and Spike.

I wonder if any of my old fanfic is still archived anywhere. That's how I rehoned my writing skills. On Angel fanfic. In retrospect, there were so many newbie mistakes in it, technically speaking, but damn, it was some of the most fun I ever had writing.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Perhaps it's at Shrift's archive? Or the glass onion?

The status is NOT quo.

Fay, have you read the fic where Donna betas the Tenth Doctor's horrid Angel/Spike slash? It is made of win. Laughed my ass off.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Much peace~ma to Shir and Nilly. And I really love the way Bitches provide distraction and helpful suggestions.

Nora, you're in my thoughts. I hope your travels are hitch-free.

In grumbles that are far less life-and-death, I suffered a grim interference in my coffee supply lines this morning. I woke up an hour late, stumbled to the pre-set coffee maker, and saw that the coffee in the carafe was strangely light. Somehow the filter got messed up so only a quarter of the coffee grounds were involved in the brew—the rest were bone dry. It was too late to make another pot, and I was too uncaffeinated to figure out what had gone wrong the first time anyway. So here I am, at the office, sucking down cup after cup of decent, but not as good as mine, coffee. As tragedies go, it's fairly not, but I'm a bit worried it's a sign of a trip-over-your-own-feet kinda day. Or week.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Poor TCG caught my Christmas cold. I can tell he's really not feeling well by admiting he actually has a cold.

(((Shir))) Peace and safety to you and your loved ones.

“Not dead yet!”

Shir, I posted up a Cabana Boy just for you in my LJ [link]

Nilly, I would've given you a specific one, but I wasn't sure which you'd like, so you can just have your pick.

Silly distraction, that, but hey, looking at the pretty is never a bad thing, right?

All is well that ends in pizza.

Distracting headline of the day:

ETA: Gosh, hard to believe.

ETAA: I'm shocked! Shocked that gamboling is going on!
