Shir, I'm so sorry.
I'm praying for a miracle of peace, but I'm not sure I believe in miracles.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Shir, I'm so sorry.

omnis, you want to show me that map of Jerusalem you've talked about? I probably won't be able to recognize anything, but it will still be amusing.
I can't really concentrate at work now.
Update: Israel attacked 20 targets last night and 6 this morning. 10 casualties at all.
If I understand right, one big change is that this time, Israel attacks every place that Hamas is firing from. Including mosques. I wonder if they'll hit the girls' school, a very popular launch site in the north of the Strip.
omnis, about what you asked: my parents house is in the safe zone from the rockets. It's pretty much the safest place in Israel. Jerusalem is also outside of the range, but we're right next to the not-very-quiet West Bank. Also, as I wrote, I'm living in a very mixed area.
Gah! I forgot to watch the Invader Zim Christmas episode. I hope D's awake when I get home because I need to rectify this situation as soon as possible.
Shiny boots of doom!
(OK yeah, petty. No riots in my neighborhood so cancelled TV shows seem important.)
It's official: they're recruiting reserves.
Don't. Go. In. There.
(I'm not worried about being called myself, though. Really).
(More updates in my previous edited post).
oh no, Shir. I'm so sorry.
Shir thank you for the updates. Sending Stay Safe ~ma.
More updates: 271 dead on the Strip. The data about the 230 dead, 15 of them civilians? That came from Hamas. Wow.
Israel is letting humanitarian aid get inside the Strip. Rockets started being launched from the Strip today too. Factories are closed in Gaza surroundings (the Israeli side), special situation has been declared.
It's hardly my first war(?), but it doesn't make it any easier. At least the radio knows what sort of music to play, combined with news reports every 30 minutes.
Shir, the map is in the game, an Xbox video game. I'd be happy to show you. C'mon over. Get ya really safe from rockets or being drafted. I'll cook.

yep. I'm pretty sure they have universities in Texas, too.
