I just think it's rather odd that a nation that prides itself on its virility should feel compelled to strap on forty pounds of protective gear just in order to play rugby.

Spike's Bitches 43: Who am I kidding? I love to brag.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Uhhh, no. That was the only math class she needs for her college career. She will have plenty of science and the math that comes with, but otherwise, that was it.

I think I only had to take one math class for college, thank goodness.

The status is NOT quo.

Drew and Kristin have a pretty big height differential. She's wee.

I'm just shy of 5'1" and Drew is around 5'10", I believe. I've been with partners of all different heights, but I'm so used to being considerably shorter that I don't even really notice. My world consists of people around my height and people a lot taller than me.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

My world consists mostly of people much taller than me, except for my step-dad's family where most of the women are within a few inches of my height. Step-grandmother had strucken to my height before she passed away.

Our wings are not tired

Yes, as Kristin said, I'm about 5'10 so there's a 9" difference between us.

I'm 5'5 or 5'6. Average for a girl, I'd say.

Bored with the snowpocalpyse. But I work from home, so it's not like I can not work tomorrow. Sigh. OTOH, I'm taking vacation the rest of the week anyway.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Brownies are done. Cooling. Smell yummy. Now onto cookies.

ND, if only I could copy/paste on the iPhone, cuz your last post has :: snicker :: all over it.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I'm 5'6", but the other women in my family are all around five feet tall.

The digital television switchover ads have started to get on my nerves. If someone doesn't know about it by now, he doesn't watch enough TV to care.

All is well that ends in pizza.

A friend of mine posted this Daisy Owl comic in his LJ, I feel it's worth posting here.

Compassionately intolerant

I'm 5'0" and have had boyfriends from 6'4" to 4'11". The 6'4" fellow once said of myself and the 4'11" guy that we looked like we belonged on the top of a wedding cake.

The short one claimed to be 5'3". Poor noodle.

Oddly enough the 14 inch height difference didn't ever really bothered me. I just got used to standing on things to kiss him.

He had this great way of cracking me up. He'd walk up behind me, lift his sweatshirt up and 'bag' me with it, covering me from head to waste. I'm not sure why, but it sent me into gales of laughter.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Dude, I'm not sure if that qualifies as brilliant or cruel.

Both. It started as either one of those small, thoughtful gestures we've been talking about or perhaps a ward against my PMS. And I have been known to hand over choccies for him to stash for me. But you should see me on the prowl when a craving strikes and he isn't home from work yet.
