Spike's Bitches 43: Who am I kidding? I love to brag.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Besides, you're from Baltimore, you're supposed to be off the hook.
Daniel's home. Thanks for ~ma.
{{{{{Sox}}}}}} If you're not allowed to be whiny here, I'll have to stop, and that would be sad. So please, whine all you want. Also, that wasn't really whiny.
I have been a lazy slug all day. I just couldn't get motivated. I baked so I could point to something done, but really it was a total loss of a day. It was a matter of the list being so long that it overwhelmed me. Blah. Yep, gonna pay for this tomorrow.
Hivemind question: If someone is in a car accident, and feels fine afterwards, has no apparent injuries, no symptoms manifest that day - if he were to have nausea, vomiting, exhaustion, and the kinds of visual weirdness one might expect with a migraine - how likely is it that these symptoms are more likely to be neurological in origin and related to the accident, than to be a coincidental stomach bug?
Andi, when I was in a severe accident that totaled my car I felt fine and walked home a couple miles. 2 days later I couldn't move. It doesn't necessarily happen right away. The symptoms could well be an unrelated bug, but it needs to be checked out.
My first instinct is to say accident related. Even if he didn't bash his head, the brain was pretty shook up. Sounds almost like concussion.
WindSparrow, I'm glad Daniel got home alright. And check for accident related stuff, definitely.
omnis, baby, you know you have a whole squad here cheering for you, no matter if that date will turn up to be the love of your life or one of the rejected monsters to the Buffyverse, right? I hope you're having tremendous fun right now, and can't wait to hear about it in a few hours.
Also, Dear Universe,
You know, there are a lot of not-Christian/atheist people around. They don't care much about Christmas or Hanukkah now. How about sending some very well deserved love for ita right now, so she wouldn't have to spend her new year at the ER?
And, Happy Hanukkah, and I really have to get out now.
So get your harmonica,
and have a gin-and-tonica,
have a happy,happy, Hannukah!
Oh, now he tells me - the visual weirdness is his usual stood-up-too-fast thingy. He just got all chatty about it, and I thought it was an actual symptom. And the nausea has been gone for a few hours. Plus? Low-grade fever. It's bloody fucking (and not in the good Buffy/Spike way) cold out there, so we're going to bide a while and watch for further developments.
