Buffy: I was regrouping. Spike: You were about to be regrouped into separate piles.

'Potential'

Spike's Bitches 43: Who am I kidding? I love to brag.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

My first instinct is to say accident related. Even if he didn't bash his head, the brain was pretty shook up. Sounds almost like concussion.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

WindSparrow, I'm glad Daniel got home alright. And check for accident related stuff, definitely.

omnis, baby, you know you have a whole squad here cheering for you, no matter if that date will turn up to be the love of your life or one of the rejected monsters to the Buffyverse, right? I hope you're having tremendous fun right now, and can't wait to hear about it in a few hours.

Also, Dear Universe,

You know, there are a lot of not-Christian/atheist people around. They don't care much about Christmas or Hanukkah now. How about sending some very well deserved love for ita right now, so she wouldn't have to spend her new year at the ER?

And, Happy Hanukkah, and I really have to get out now.

Always Anti-fascist!

So get your harmonica,

and have a gin-and-tonica,

have a happy,happy, Hannukah!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Oh, now he tells me - the visual weirdness is his usual stood-up-too-fast thingy. He just got all chatty about it, and I thought it was an actual symptom. And the nausea has been gone for a few hours. Plus? Low-grade fever. It's bloody fucking (and not in the good Buffy/Spike way) cold out there, so we're going to bide a while and watch for further developments.

Our wings are not tired.

Well, I hope Daniel doesn't have to work tomorrow so he can have some recovery and rest time.

G'night all. Time for sleep for me.

Yikes! ~ma for Daniel. Hopefully it's just a bug (how often does one say that?).

Aw shucks, you are making me blush. I am home from the date. It was ok. I think her readiness to respond wasn't so much out of "OMG he could be the one", but more because she seems bored out of her mind right now. She's working on her 2nd Master degree, and, being an international student, has no work visa. Since school isn't in session for a few weeks, I think she was looking for something to do. It was pleasant enough. Her English is very good for only 3 years in USA, but she was soft spoken, so difficult to hear. She really likes bowling, so hopefully we'll roll a couple games next weekend. Aside from that, I really doubt it will be all that serious, if it goes anywhere at all. First off, she hates reading. Huh? She only likes slasher/horror movies. She loves karaoke. She hates being 'cute and skinny'. She hates being 33 and everyone thinking she's 20-25. (she's Taiwanese, so it goes with the territory). And when she finishes school, she wants to get a job so she can "shop shop shop shop shop, and buy a BMW too". So ya, soul mates, not so much. But she is rather cute. So maybe I can help with her boredom, and she can help with my shyness. Eh, we'll see. But it was nice to get out of the house.

With that, I wish all those that celebrate it, Happy Hanukkah!!!

Also, I believe this year, today (21st) is the winter solstice for the northern hemisphere! I'd say go outside and dance naked under the moon, but if it's 29ºF in Dallas, I can't imagine anyone wanting to dance naked in that, lest bits freeze and break off. Ouch! Either way, Happy Winter Solstice!!

Is it a good fire ball? You'd think that would warm things up a bit, no?

Now tagless for your comfort.

Poor Torque.

~ma for Daniel.

Teppy, I hope you're feeling better. Yikes. Been a seriously crappy couple of weeks for you. You deserve a healthy, happy New Year.

I've completely finished shopping for the kids. Now I just need to pick up a few things for Christopher and my sister and BiL who are coming up Christmas eve. Then I'm done.
