Which reminds me - ita, are you feeling any better?
Not much. I think the last procedure has worn off. Still, I'm to get a much more permanent (this time they'll kill instead of numb) nerve treatment in the new year. Can't wait. Today is a particularly bad head day.
Oh, ita, I hope you soon get the relief you need.
The wind is howling like wolves. It's so bitter cold that 10 minutes outside to clear the back steps and walk made my fingers numb inside the extra-insulated gloves. Please send ~ma for Daniel to get home safely. He just called me to say he'd been throwing up at work all day, and finally his supervisor sent him home, but he had needed to stop and nap at a gas station for a while first.
I think I need some calm~ma.
tons of ~ma to the both of you, WindSparrow
calm to you windsparrow and get home safe to Daniel.
So I've been feeling bleck all week but picked it up a notch for DHs parents (who are staying at a nearby hotel by choice) his brother and SiL (who i love and dont see enough of) and our awesome and adorable nephew are here for an early family Xmas. We've been getting the house ready all week and cooking like crazy and I busted ass to make sure all the presents were bought and were great. All week, he's said 'take it easy' and all week I kept quiet about how I wished they were coming any other weekend. He gave me a break this morning and took everyone out of the house for a few hours but I messed around on the internets getting a last gift cert and cachting up and didn't get a nap until just before they came back and wanted lunch. So after dessert following the full turkey Xmas dinner tonight (he did as much work as me) I leaned over and said I was pooped. He said 'you need more sleep?' and now I feel like a huge ass.
Lots of calm~ma, WindSparrow.
I'm watching the Radio City Christmas Spectacular on TV. I am distinctly unimpressed. (I'm watching with my parents. My father's comment was, "For something that's so associated with New York, this is really Midwestern." Mostly, I'm just "eh.")
We went to see this live once, when I was in high school, or maybe college. I wasn't terribly impressed then, either. (We never went when my sister and I were kids, because our parents wanted to wait until we were old enough to understand that we could enjoy the show even though we don't celebrate Christmas. I think they waited a bit too long, though -- above a certain age, the show is just kinda boring.)
I am at meeting point. Waiting. Nope, not nervous, what makes you think that?
calm ~ma to WindSparrow and omnis for their respective stressful sitches.
Calm ~ma, Andi and lots of safe travel ~ma for Daniel.
May it be a delight filled evening, o-a.
I baked stuff. It was mostly avoiding doing real work. But now I have muffins, and pies.

apologies for the whine fest above. There's stuff been going on since October that I haven't posted about because of the squick factor, and the not really ready to talk about it because it freaks me out, and because it's likely all caused by me stressing - if I seem like a huge whining bore and a ~ma whore right now, I am sorry.
{{Sox}} No need at all for apologies. I'm sorry for all the stress.
