Spike: Heard what happened up top, offing your dad and all. Don't know if you know this, but, uh…I killed my mum. Actually, I'd already killed her, and then she tried to shag me, so I had to-- Wesley: Thank you. I'm…very comforted.

Spike's Bitches 43: Who am I kidding? I love to brag.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I'm here, listening to that radio show with the guy from Colbert Report.

I was out sledding!! The streets are mostly closed (though a few jackasses were going up streets that were ACTUALLY closed--including signs and everything).

I even saw a guy on a UNICYCLE. People are crazy.

I got a wonderful gift from paramount. A big-ass bag (so I can take the messenger bag off my wish list,) Tropic Thunder on DVD, a Benjamin Button watch and a Defiance T-shirt. I think the bag is for picknicks as it has two pockets on the sides that are wine-bottle sized and an interior space that appears to be insulated but for now it's my new work bag. Yay. Also one of the vendors who I thought was only giving us a card this year sent us toffee.

At the moment I am treating my cold with chicken-tortilla soup and hot peppers.

I'd rather be sledding. What kind of sled do you have, meara?

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I even saw a guy on a UNICYCLE. People are crazy.

My younger brother can ride a unicycle. I figure the attraction was the dramatic increase it offered in falling off things. If ever he writes a memoir it will be titled "Gravity, My Old Nemesis".

"Gravity, My Old Nemesis"

I'd buy that.

I have nothing to go sledding with, otherwise I would bundle back up and go to the park that's a block from our house. When we walked by it earlier, the entire neighborhood was there sledding down the (gentle) hills.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

We had ye olde Flexible Flyer and I had a silver saucer, that thing was awesome.
