I'm sorry. You were going to ask me to choose, right? Did you want to finish?

Spike's Bitches 43: Who am I kidding? I love to brag.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Librarian Warlord

Headlines are probably covered by copyright (there's been no determination -- if they were found to be titles, they wouldn't be covered, but there's a good enough chance the courts wouldn't consider them a title).

IMHO, and my law degree is certainly very, very dusty, if you spread your headlines among different papers and don't copy any of the article that goes with them, it's going to be considered de minimis -- the courts won't concern themselves with a trifle.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Hey Seaniekins.

I'm feeling really agitated and kind of out of it. Chocolate and mindfulness are not helping. Ideas?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

You around over the holidays?

I am. Shall we play?

(Also, I was just about to look you up for a recycling/reuse question when you appeared -- we don't want our old but working stove to go for scrap metal if it can be reused by someone instead; is that feasible around these parts? good places to donate? or is it like the computer recycling where yuppies feel like they're doing good but nobody actually wants the stuff and it gets dumped on the developing world after all?)

I think we should maybe play. Perhaps I can even drag KBD out of his mancave, though it's doubtful. Amyth is gone pretty much the whole time. I'll be in the *other* point of the Triangle for a few days around Xmas, but just a few.

If it's older than 5 yrs, Habitat won't take it. However, for example, we have a "Friends of [county name] Social Service" group that has much less stringent standards. I would look for something like that or perhaps a church group that helps people after fires.

Lemme know if you can't find anything.

eta don't hesitate to call your municipal waste management peeps - they may have some good ideas.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

My Sociocultural Perspectives on Education teacher was Chicana -- and blonde and blue-eyed. She said the rest of her family looks much more typically Mexican (that is, European-Mexican, not Native Mexican) and her looks have led to quite a lot of confusion.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I am so full of gronk and crank today. I'd like to go home and cuddle with kittens, please.
