Spike's Bitches 43: Who am I kidding? I love to brag.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I hope the "tick tick tick" is something cheaper than the starter, WS.

Well, Daniel has been saying for a couple weeks that it was due for a new battery soon, so that's the odds-on favorite.

Thanks for the well wishes. Must have helped. The evil chair finally won, and coaxed me to sleep. I missed the last part of the Philly/JerseyGiants game. But the headache is mostly gone. When the evil chair lets me go, I'm gonna see if I got any of the pecan pie in the leftovers haul last night. It has choco in it. Might push the last of the headache away.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Matilda and I are watching Charlie Brown Christmas.

She keeps muttering, "Charlie sad. Charlie sad."

Hil, yay for the grading, not-so-yay for the sore shoulder.

Ginger, yeah, I'm not down on myself for not going. I weighed the level of pleasure I would get from the music (brass band, so enjoyable but it's not like it's a Baroque chamber ensemble) against the level of discomfort from setting foot out into the weather, and decided I would get more pleasure out of staying in the warm and consoling myself with some hot fic.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I'll be out this evening, Nora, but I'll be in tomorrow.

Thank you Ginger! Wow, it's been a while. These case studies are killing me- a totally different way of thinking/writing. I'll send it over tonight, see what you can make of it tomorrow.

Stupid Motrin is doing nothing. I need Flexeril, I know, but I don't have any -- haven't needed it in a while. I think my plans for this evening have changed from "do laundry, clean kitchen" to "lie on couch and whimper."

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Does the boy know how lucky he is yet?

Hil, hope your couch does for you like my comfy chair did for me.

Pix, how goes it over there? I'm skeered for y'all with the rash of break ins. Hopefully Zoe will keep evil away from your place.
