Reavers ain't men. Or they forgot how to be. Now they're just nothing. They got out to the edge of the galaxy, to that place of nothing, and that's what they became.

Spike's Bitches 43: Who am I kidding? I love to brag.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Does the boy know how lucky he is yet?

Hil, hope your couch does for you like my comfy chair did for me.

Pix, how goes it over there? I'm skeered for y'all with the rash of break ins. Hopefully Zoe will keep evil away from your place.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

He is a minion. No fraternizing allowed. And I've never ever broken the rules regarding workplaces romances. Not me. No way. No sir. Never ever.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

How does she feel about Snoopy?

She loves him.

"Where's the dog? Where's Soopy?" (as she calls him)

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm having pasta with butter for dinner again because it seems like the only thing that doesn't aggravate my still sensitive stomach.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Ok, I'm reading a fic in which this phrase, "You better damn had be," keeps appearing in places where I would have written, "You damn well better be." The rest of the fic is written in reasonable enough English it never occurred to me that it wasn't the author's mother tongue. It's so wrong, that it really bugs me, mostly because the rest of it is so fluent.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

"Soopy"

Aww. Just brought back a sweet memory of Richard-Richard, 20 mos., and his dog named Snoopy, called by R-R, "Beezhie". Y'know, that's nowhere near, I can't even extrapolate how he got there from Snoopy. Still, sorta enchanting.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

My brother called hamburgers hangabears. One day my Mom picked up the grocery list and my Dad had drawn a picture of two teddy bears hanging by their necks with Xs for eyes. Mom says, "what is this?!" Dad says, "we're out of hangabears."
