I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

YOU GUYS! I'm done with one of my two classes this quarter! I have one more class session for my YA Lit class on Wednesday and a final project (that I'm almost done with) for that class and then I'm done. FOREVAH!

What? It helps the economy.

Here's how culturally over-sensitive I am: Mal's preschool did several Thanksgiving-related art projects. The "Indian" one was a totem pole, very very Pacific Northwest. So I was crabby that they got the wrong native culture.

Then I noticed it was made from a toilet paper tube.

I am sick of math. Been working on this topic for way too long and getting nowhere.

Tomorrow I teach my last classes of the semester!

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Helloooooo.

Er. Am too tired to formulate articulate thought. Was ONLY PERSON at CPR/first aid cert class. Which was nice, as I got one-on-one teaching from a very competent nurse. But was bas as I feel like someone beat me with all three plastic mannequins. 2-bit hookers spent less time kneeling and putting their mouths on odd things than I did today.

And I still feel like I would kill someone with my less-than-mad CPR skills. And the nurse spent some time talking and the term "prayer warrior" was used. Ugh. And she spent some time talking to me about How My Prince Would Come Someday -- I Just Need To Believe. And talking about the gift she was buying her neice, which is a book from Focus on the Family, which was written by a guy who decided to spend every holiday writing letters to his future (unknown) wife about how he chose not to neck because everyone he would neck with would be someone's future wife and that would be Giving Away A Piece of His Soul.

Which made me want to stab myself in the face with a rigid splint, because he soudned like he was Giving Away a Piece of His Crazy, and if someone presented me with a bunch of those letters without a compelling clairvoyent talent, I would be running far, far away.

Usually, I would indicate my non-interest, but she was (a) very nice and (b) I thought maybe I would be able to get out of there early. No dice.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Luck to you, Fay.

health ma ~, kristin

I ran a whole bunch of errands up until 2ish today. I've been futless ever since. I can't decide if it is because of picking up Percy's remains ( tears just ran down my face randomly for the next hour) or because this weekend is so busy. I have a ton to do, but I can't do it. I wish I could just settle, but that doesn't work either. feh.

I was unaware that torture was part of the CPR training.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

{{beth}} That's so hard, love. No wonder you're futless.

Erin, you have remarkable restraint. I think I would have walked out of the class and said I'd find a new one to enroll in. Or, I would have told her I was there for CPR, not to be prosetylized at about her version of safe sex and to just stick to the lesson plan, thenkyouveddymuch.

Oy. I'm stuffed. I made red beans and rice for dinner and one bowl was just. not. enough. Then it was!

Oh, beth...I would be sad and aimless, too.

Sail, beth -- I'd been in the class for 7 hours! I was staying! And honestly, she'd been fine until I sped through all the reading training, and I HAD to be there for the full 8 hours. And she has to do my med tech cert in a week.

Please, god, let there be drug samples.
