Oh, beth...I would be sad and aimless, too.
Sail, beth -- I'd been in the class for 7 hours! I was staying! And honestly, she'd been fine until I sped through all the reading training, and I HAD to be there for the full 8 hours. And she has to do my med tech cert in a week.
Please, god, let there be drug samples.
I think maybe I don't like Heroes anymore. For the last few weeks my gut reaction on seeing new posts in the Heroes thread is, "Oh jeez, here we go again." Still... not posting this in there on account of I don't want to be spoiled.
Erin, I think you need to go in with a prepared program on the Flying Spaghetti Monster and how it has changed your life. In detail. Teeeeny tiny intricate involved detail. Spare her nothing, in you earnest wish to share, as she so generously shared today. Or, pray for drug samples.
((beth))
Cashmere, so much health and recovery wished to your MiL, and strength to you and your DH.
Sail, H is making black beans with sausage tomorrow. I get to be in charge of the rice. Phear me.
In all honesty, H is the cook. He does it much better than me, so I'm willing to sous-chef for him anytime he wants to cook.
Well, mine actually ended up being red and black beans with rice, since I needed two cans and only had the one of kidney beans. Plus, I put in some Polska Kielbasa. A little bit of homemade Creole seasoning and omnomnom, dinner.
OMG. I made the best post Tday leftover meal. A rocking turkey stew, super-spiced, packed with veggies with plenty of red wine. ohmyeverlovingnom. Plus, corn muffins with the not quite jellied, but very spicy cranberry sauce as a shmear.
I'm stuffed and so satisfied.
Kristin, I hope it's not strep. But that sounds awfully suspicious. I recommend some hot miso. It always helps my sore throats.
Someone remind me to pick up some ricotta so I can make lasagna tomorrow night.

Dear Cash, pick up some ricotta and take some pictures of your new haircut.

Kristin, no-strep vibes for you. Also, enough ease that you can sleep tonight.
Yes! Cashmere hair pictures would be fantastic!
Also, woohoo, GC!
I am random and desultory tonight.
A guest gave my cashier three dimes instead of a quarter and when he cashed himself out he treated them like a quarter. He didn't seem to understand that 30 cents != 25 cents. I think he went home thinking I'm being petty. Dude! You've got 30 cents. You can't pretend it's a quarter!
