If you take sexual advantage of her, you're going to burn in a very special level of hell. A level they reserve for child molesters and people who talk at the theater.

Spike's Bitches 43: Who am I kidding? I love to brag.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I brought champagne, but since the police were so very very present and polite (and nobody else had busted out champagne) I decided to let it lie. Most of the cops were smiling.

You could feel waves of joy rolling down the street. Groups of people would start sing-alongs. Street musicians were everywhere. Cars were beeping in time to the chanting.

Man, this sounds like Martha and the Vandellas...

Callin' out around the world
Are you ready for a brand new beat?

And from the depths of the soul of America, apparently the answer is...yes.

I would like to lead a singalong in front of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, just for George W. Bush.

ION. It seems tonight I had, what might be discovered as, the first example of it's GOOD to shop while hungry. I have finally purchased the basic ingredients for baking in my new apartment. Flour, sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda. But the hungry in me saw cinnamon sticks and went "Mmmm Yum!". Mind you, I've never ever ever used sticks before, just the powder from McCormick. So. Um. Is there any special trick to using them sticks to say add cinnamon to brownies or cookies?

Now, I just need energy to actually, well, ya know, BAKE!

CNN has the exit polls up on it's site. At first I was bummed that I didn't get asked anything. Then I saw the list of questions. Dear Jebus, that was longer than the ballot! Glad I didn't. However. It is interesting to see the results. Most notably, how low the black vote was. I dunno if that is a low vote, or a low exit poll of black voters. Either way, if your curious: [link]

Ha! He was a little late, but not much. Fair play to him - he's doing a good job, and he did knuckle down after the point when I came online and bitched about it. (And, I swear, if he'd been apologising & acknowledging the fact that his lateness was having an impact on the poor slobs who were waiting around, I'd have been good with it - shit happens, and so does tardiness. It was the failure to acknowledge it that was so galling. Gah.)

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I've read articles that said black turnout was indeed up, but the black vote as a proportion of the overall vote was not (and nor was the youth vote) - everyone turned out in greater numbers. Which is fantastic, it indicates Obama has a broad base of support. It also means that he won North Carolina (I'm assuming it'll be called for him) with a drop in the African-American proportion of the vote.
