I didn't see your post before you edited, but I so totally understand this feeling. You want all of your students to succeed so badly that it just drains you and it totally sucks when they refuse to care enough about themselves to actually put in any effort. I so so so get this.

Oh, I didn't post. I actually retracted before ever hitting post, because once I'd done the cathartic ranting I decided you guys didn't need to hear the details, but ugh. Bright, bright student. Fucking up. And fucking up the class, to boot, so it's a bigger issue than just "so let me fail, Ms. You."
I think he would have been less embarrassed if asked to streak, Calli, but he did all right.But I think I know what he'd be like on Band Candy now.

Oh, and looking at his enormous hands in graham cracker made me think of Teppy again. as well as making me think the crush has changed me...time was, it would have bothered me to fancy a guy who gets manis...ha, the one vestige of cowgirl culture that took?
