Crud, JZ. Car troubles is rotten.
MM, you made my allergies act up again.
Barb, the problem with having a nice rack like that, is you won't actually want to cover it with coats.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Just about the universal flaw in nice racks, really.
Well, that particular rackitude was an exception rather than a rule for me. Definitely was product of a good bra combined with a good neckline.
But for that afternoon, I had a rack.
For Laura:
Ah, nice rack! How is your leg doing today, Barb?
MM, that was beautiful.
Going to have to make it an early night tonight. Stayed up way too late last night.
Leg's better, babe-- or maybe it's just that I'm not feeling it so much since the number I did on my back yesterday, rescuing Jasmine the Ridiculous Lab from under the fence.
That dog is intent on killing me, I swear.
MM that was beautiful. But... well... I hate to ask. Does this mean no more kerfuffle bunnies?
Shir, glad to hear the ~ma is working on your lip. Hopefully you can smile pain free.
Hec-ma, JZ!
So in HowCuteIsThis news, yesterday as my kids came back in from their swimming lesson, one of them - a 7 year old French boy called Pierre - said to me: "Miss Fay, do you like Obama or McCain?" and I said "Obama! And he's President now!" And he said "HE WON???!!!" And I said "Yes!" And he grabbed one of the other kids and started yelling "Obama won! Obama won!" And my crowd of seven- and eight-year olds of various nationalities went Obama crazy. In Bangkok.
!!!!
I didn't even know they KNEW there was an election going on in America! I mean, okay, I have 2 American kids, so I guess that's not so surprising - I knew one of them knew, but I certainly didn't expect the whole class to start jumping around excitedly. And they were asking sensible questions, like "How many votes did McCain get?" and when I told them how the vote split worked out, they were laughing and excited all over again.
Cutest. Thing. Ever.
Meanwhile, in mememe news, the student preview of my play went very well! Yay! (And I'm particularly pleased that the daughter of one of the local amdram 'Old Guard' was there with her school group, since said lady - who's directing a production of The Mikado has apparently been a little unguarded in her suppositions that we're crap. In light of this knowledge, the 'promotional' article she wrote for us in the Newsletter (she's in charge of the group's Newsletter) read as decidedly snide. (Our director being new to the group, and almost all our cast also being new members.) Anyway, I know the kid in question thought we were great, and will go home and tell mum. Which is nice.
Schadenfreude - I have to say, I'm not a fan. But evidently she is - I swear it's a competitive thing, and we're NOT in competition, for fuck's sakes! Her play is on in JANUARY. And it's a totally different kind of show. But I don't think she can bear the idea that someone 'new' could do a good job of directing.
I SO don't have time or patience for this kind of petty snippy bullshit. I think we need more of a supportive, constructive, can-do kind of attitude on the committee, and not this endless backbiting bullshit. Gah.
Fricking DRAMA QUEENS, man! We suck!
am watching evening news covering results. Yup, still weepy.

did the "star" show up on time? :)
MM that was awesome. Kudos, man, kudos.
