I agree! So why won't my brain let me sleep.

There must have been a meeting--and my specialist says he was leaning on them.
Way to go Mr. Specialist. At least you don't have to start from scratch every time and convince every attending you're not a junkie.
The ER also offered me a free HIV test. I said no, and they needed a reason why I was refusing. Apparently, "It's 4:30 in the morning, I've been here since midnight, and I want to go HOME" is not a good enough reason. Why do they need a reason? The guy wouldn't leave until I'd given him a reason to write down on his clipboard.
WindSparrow, I've tried a neti pot, and I'm trying to decide if the feeling of almost drowning is worth any possible relief at this point.
Maybe they should call it Netiboarding.
I hope you feel better soon, you poor girl.
Thank you, I do feel much, much better. Just in time to go back to work. Thhbbbbpt on the Vacation Fairie that planned this one. I hope you find some relief for your angry, angry sinuses.
ita, I'm glad your specialist has made your trips to the ER go a bit more smoothly, but yeah, it really does suck that you have to make them so often.
WTF HIV test bullies, Hil? I would have very slowly and in that "talking to the hard of hearing" tone, repeated "It's 4:30 in the morning, I've been here since midnight, and I want to go HOME - no, really that IS what I want you to write down. See, if y'all were serious about it, you would have asked in a more timely fashion."
When that wasn't a good enough answer, I tried, "I don't need it," and that was good enough, it seemed. Really, "I don't want it" seems like a much better answer than "I don't need it" -- the first one is at least definitely the truth, while the second could very well be false.
Woke up. One more day for the weekend. Could have used more sleep, silly late to sleep me.
And so bored online that I just emailed my dad this morning a list of "hey, what's up?" questions. He didn't answer yet, but I already regret it.
Headlines today says Jordan implored Israel not to go on operation on Gaza Strip. One of the "yeah, I already know the answer to this question, but for the slim chance something's new" questions I sent my dad was if we're gonna visit my sister in her base this weekend. I fear they might shut down families' visits for a while, until things will cool down a little bit.
No lay off~ma to billytea.
meara is very cute.
something about that picture makes me state the obvious.
Safety~ma for your sister, Peace~ma for the whole area, Shir.
The guy wouldn't leave until I'd given him a reason to write down on his clipboard.
Wha? I think my answer, at that point, would have been, "because it's none of your damn business." Or something angry like that.
So much ~ma to billytea, SuziQ, and Shir!
