I think those shoes are beyond hideous, but one of the cool nurses (god, all I talk about is the ER--it's like the new krav) wears them, and I figure nurses are a good recommendation for practical and comfy footwear.

I talked to my boss this morning, and fingers crossed, it sounds like maybe (please god maybe?) this time I might squeak through with keeping a job for a while. I hope. Please. It's looking positive. I just got a haircut! Hec would approve--there is definite nape. In fact, the girl will probably not approve, as there is not enough hair to grab, in the back, for several inches up. I think it probably looks good, though I'm a bit worried that on one side, it is not angled enough. Hard to say if that's the case, or if it's just not curling right because of all the combing and cutting and so on. Liked the new hairstylist though. But OUCH, the price! More than I've ever paid for a haircut, I'm pretty sure--with tip included, it hit triple digits.
And then I went to Sephora, and apparently decided that since I'd already spent a ton of money making me feel pretty, why not spend more? Um.
