What'd you all order a dead guy for?

Spike's Bitches 43: Who am I kidding? I love to brag.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Hil, what meds were they giving you? When they give me compazine or dilaudid without benadryl I tend to anxiety attacks and feel a huge urge to rip out the needle and run for the hills.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

While at the BBQ joint, saw a gal wearing some spring loaded shoes. Talked to her a bit, and she LOVED them. Has anyone heard/use Z-coil footwear? [link]

Our wings are not tired.

Omnis, my hairdresser wears those and he RAVES about them!

I think those shoes are beyond hideous, but one of the cool nurses (god, all I talk about is the ER--it's like the new krav) wears them, and I figure nurses are a good recommendation for practical and comfy footwear.

Oh weird--I just clicked to the ZCoil website--I'd seen the gymshoe ones, but not the semi-high-heel ones! Strange...

Definitely no-layoff-ma to Billytea! That would be bad timing indeed. I talked to my boss this morning, and fingers crossed, it sounds like maybe (please god maybe?) this time I might squeak through with keeping a job for a while. I hope. Please. It's looking positive. So here's hoping that means good things for EVERYONE, and NOT that I've stolen the -ma from others.

I just got a haircut! Hec would approve--there is definite nape. In fact, the girl will probably not approve, as there is not enough hair to grab, in the back, for several inches up. I think it probably looks good, though I'm a bit worried that on one side, it is not angled enough. Hard to say if that's the case, or if it's just not curling right because of all the combing and cutting and so on. Liked the new hairstylist though. But OUCH, the price! More than I've ever paid for a haircut, I'm pretty sure--with tip included, it hit triple digits.

And then I went to Sephora, and apparently decided that since I'd already spent a ton of money making me feel pretty, why not spend more? Um.

I want pics, Meara. And also? Peeps here suggested Urban Decay's 24/7 eye liner and I bought some a couple of weeks ago and this stuff doth rocketh. I bought a travel pack with a bunch of different colors. It's great.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Do you think it would be bad of me to mix in leftover Xanax into the evening meal at my new job?

Or stick a big chunk of burning opium into the ventilation. (No, what a waste.)

Ultimate irony: single girl from small family hurled into cooking nutrious evening means from inadequate menu's with not all ingredient there. Tonight I ended up with a hamm cheese and broccoli "casserole" with crescent rolls on the bottom and top layer. It was supposed to be a "ham roll."

Am super-busy, and need to buy more jeans and socks and comfy shoes.

Yay! I don't have Facebook. Now I am sad and deprived.
