Spike's Bitches 43: Who am I kidding? I love to brag.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

rough estimates researched on iPhone during boring meeting.

Roughly 1/3 of populace voted.

Roughly 63% of eligible folks voted.

Results may vary, and gronk is high. But when bored, math will wake ya up.

Oh my GOD, I hate stupid customer service people. I'm pretty articulate, I know how to explain things clearly. I have all of my information in front of me, account numbers and such. So, why do I have to explain THREE TIMES.

Yeah, Seattle had two major street parties going last night, one on Broadway - the main street of Capital Hill, the young/gay district, and one on Pike which connects Capital Hill to Downtown.

Apparently they ran past 1:30 am because as people left, others joined them.

Actually, a friend on LJ has photos in an unlocked post, so here you go - [link]

Ann, that's a ferret.

Roughly 63% of eligible folks voted.

According to XM's pollitics channel this morning, this year's voting rate may be the highest since 1908. A full century.

Roughly 1/3 of populace voted.

Roughly 63% of eligible folks voted.

Does that mean only 1/3 of our populace is eligable to vote? Or is that 63% of registered voters?

I couldn't find registered voter stat, only eligible stat.

1/3 is total populace that voted. Children, immigrants, etc.

population : 301 million

Those eligible to vote: 213 million

Votes: 120 million

All heavily rounded numbers. And votes are still being count.

(gosh, I hope my Gronk numbers estimate were close, seeing how we got some math whizzes in here)
