'Bring On The Night'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

So, I heard that Georgia has a mysterious "low voter turnout" and that they may not have counted 100,000 early voting ballots from Atlanta.
Interesting.
If I didn't have to go get dressed for work, I'd look for more info.
Maverick County in Texas went for Obama 78 to 21. This makes me smile.
DC went crazy - bunches of people literally dancing in the streets. Spontaneous party - one big one in front of the White House. The Secret Service was nervous, although no one appeared threatening. Happy birthday, Laura Bush.
And, to make things sweeter, there was a big group of people laughing and crying together at 14th and U. Right near where the riots started in 1968.
Daily Kos says that more than 600,000 early votes haven't been counted in Georgia.

Last night I passed where Malcom X was assassinated and where Dr. King was stabbed and stood at the feet of Adam Clayton Powell Jr.'s statue watching the acceptance speech. I think there was as much weeping as cheering and sometimes you couldn't tell the difference.
There were lots of police and their silly orange nets but as soon as one party would get squished into a corner or dispersed someone else would pull a car over, crank the stereo, and the party would reform there.
I brought champagne, but since the police were so very very present and polite (and nobody else had busted out champagne) I decided to let it lie. Most of the cops were smiling.
You could feel waves of joy rolling down the street. Groups of people would start sing-alongs. Street musicians were everywhere. Cars were beeping in time to the chanting.
I damn near did make out with everyone last night! Mr. Jane and I listened to a MLK speech last night and I cried like a baby.
Dude. I almost can't believe it.
