Spike: You pissed in the Big Man's Chair? That's fantastic! Gunn: Spike, can you please turn off that warm fuzzy? Spike: What, the Lorne thing? Worn off. I just think that's bloody fabulous.

'Life of the Party'

Spike's Bitches 43: Who am I kidding? I love to brag.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

beth, I am so so sorry about Percy. Peace to you and Matt.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Many sympathies to Percy and his humans.

I'm sorry, beth.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Oh, wow, bad things.

beth and matt, that is so sad and hard.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Oh wow. I can't believe how many horrible things have happened to my Bitches. First, peace and love to Bev and Matt and their families. I am so sorry for your losses. Second, Shir, that's terrible news, and it breaks my heart that you are dealing with yet another tragedy. Healing~ma to your friend and coping~ma to you. And Beth and DH, so much love to you. Losing a beloved pet is so painful. He had a good, long life with you and a peaceful passing, but it still hurts.

Good news for everyone today; I so decree.

Happy (belated) Birthday, Jilli!

Compassionately intolerant

Whatever is beyond us, may Percy find there, warm sunbeams on cushy floors, surrounded by yarn ball, all the catnip he desires and an endless supply of everything that makes him purr.

Much love to Beth and Matt as they guide him to that place.

Trust my rage

beth, I'm sorry to hear about Percy.

Sean, I wanted to thank you for the update. I was actually just wondering about S last week but since I'm not always here and I don't know you guys all that well, it seemed a bit rude to just ask directly. I'm glad she's out of the hospital and I hope, as you said, she makes just one trip back.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Thanks, guys. As I wrote, he's only acquaintance, a friend-of-friends, but it's just the freaking timing. You know, I just want some time off from bad news, especially ones involving cancer and my dearest and nearest, or Qassam rockets and IDF operations on Gaza Strip.

Of course, the thing that occupies my mind most these days is how I'm gonna deal with the mass of articles I have to read, summarize and report. Which makes me think I'm privileged with those thoughts (and with the opportunity I'm having to have them), but in a good way.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

And Sean, thanks for the update.

All the peaceful and smooth transition~mas to S and her family, and I'm crossing my fingers for a good, not-rejectable liver.

You're all in my thoughts. I hope you can rest more now and take care of yourself.
