I seen you without your clothes on before. Never thought I'd see you naked.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I've been noticing extra stupidity even in my little kids lately. I'm not sure what to attribute it to, but it's getting old real fast.

OMG, yes. Last week and this week my students seem to have taken stupid pills. Seriously. They are wearing on my very last nerve.

All kinds of ~ma to Tom and GC!

{{{{ Vortex }}}} are you ok? Seems like the world is wanting to piss ya off this week. I hope your weekend is full of soothing things.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

~ma for Tom and GC.

So, I guess eventually something crap had to happen to ruin my week. A friend's ex-girlfriend who he was still very close to (he was basically always taking care of her crazy, asshole self) killed herself last night. He's a mess, my friend B was with him last night until 2, probably going to be with him the rest of the weekend and go to the funeral.

I knew her-hated her-but knew her, so I have no idea what I'm even going to say when I call this afternoon besides, "I'm sorry. Is there anything I can do to help?"

The only thing that saved me from being completely melancholy is my sister's "facebook dance" which she posted a video of last night.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

~ma for Tom and GC.

DJ, I think all you can do is offer sympathy and comfort. And support.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

{{{DJ and friends}}} I'm so sorry for you friend. He is lucky he has good people like you to help him through this.

And Vortex - do we need to take you out for booze to soften the pain of the stupidity?

I'd probably be a much better person if I weren't thinking, "That is *so* like her."

Haven't said it out loud, even to B who thought she was a crazy asshole too.

You're allowed to think it, and you have us so that you have someone you can safely "say" it to.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

{{DJ & friend}}. And yeah, good to say those things here to relieve the pressure and avoid blurting them where you shouldn't. You are a good friend, and your sympathy and caring are all you can offer. And your friend is lucky to have that from you.

Kthxbye.
