We die horribly and painfully, you go to hell and I spend eternity in the arms of baby Jesus.

Spike's Bitches 43: Who am I kidding? I love to brag.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Er... fuel? Thanksgiving? Less than three weeks until? I dunno, really. Maybe I should save it for summer.

Don't save it for summer! I miss you.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Congratulations, Erin!

I hope there's a new Supernatural tonight.

Yes there is. What? And why don't you come over to the thread and talk about it?

brillig

I hate being this tired and groggy. Weird things go through my head, like story pieces of things I'm not writing or never read. Just now an Englishwoman's voice said very clearly "Are you sure all the pieces are still there?" Odd dialogue often wanders past, like part of my brain is tuned to a television nowhere near me.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Hi {{{everybody}}}

I skimmed a lot of the cranberry desicussion. Did anyone post a link to Mama Stamberg's Cranberry Relish? It is da bomb and since I have a food processor now I am definitely making it this year.

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

Neither Orlando nor Leesburg is that far from where I live. Hmmmmmm
Hmmmm. Do I sense a saving er um kidnapping being planned? I there Nov 26-Dec 1.

Who would be kidnapping whom? But a micro F2F might be workable.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Holy crap, Colbert is ON FIRE tonight.

“Not dead yet!”

Is he going off on the nutbar priest in SC, Trudy?

He was riffing on Jane Austen. I nearly peed.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Colbert was new? For some reason, I thought it was a rerun tonight. I guess I'll catch one of the reshowings.

Birthday was pretty good. Did not get a cupcake, because by the time I finished grading, it was almost 6 and it was dark out and I didn't want to try to figure out how to get to Columbia Heights and back in the dark, just for a cupcake.

Got a few odd birthday wishes. Two from my students, who sent the messages through facebook (um, stop it) and who addressed me as "Hil," spelled that way, which is totally not the way that someone would guess to spell it from looking at my full name, which is getting me all paranoid.
