Birthday was pretty good. Did not get a cupcake, because by the time I finished grading, it was almost 6 and it was dark out and I didn't want to try to figure out how to get to Columbia Heights and back in the dark, just for a cupcake.
Got a few odd birthday wishes. Two from my students, who sent the messages through facebook (um, stop it) and who addressed me as "Hil," spelled that way, which is totally not the way that someone would guess to spell it from looking at my full name, which is getting me all paranoid.

I got an iPod touch from my parents, and the House season 4 DVDs from my aunt and uncle. I need to figure out if I can use the charger from my old iPod with the iPod touch. (It doesn't come with a charger, just a USB cable.)
