I tell you I have this theory. It goes where, you're the one who's not my sister. Cuz mom adopted you from a shoe box full of baby howler monkeys, and never told you cuz it could hurt your delicate baby feelings.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Can a drug interaction between Dayquil and Wellbutrin make you feel hammered?

A common side effect (~22%) of Wellbutrin -- even on its own -- is dizziness. And 2 of the ingredients in DayQuil can also cause dizziness.

I'd say drink a lot of water, and maybe avoid caffeine.

The combo won't kill you; the dizziness is going to be more annoying than harmful (unless the dizziness is so bad that you whack into a wall or something -- so avoid walls).

Mostly lurking...

Happy Birthday, Hil! You share a birthday with my uncle, who is turning 70 this year! Craziness! Actually, I just wrote a special 70th birthday "Mad Lib" for my kids to fill out today. I will call him tonight and share it. I expect there to be hilarity as their favorite verb and noun is fart, and their favorite color tends to be pink.

Emily sighting! Umm...$600 seems excessive, both for airfare and for Christmas presents, but I admit that I'm a cheapy.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Thanks, Tep.

Man, usually I have to drink a few beers to feel like this.

If only I wasn't at work, this might be kinda awesome.

Anya Employee: Then why are you still here?

It wouldn't play for me at work. :(

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Trudy, this. You'd probably still have to go through security, but it'll be more open.

The inauguration itself, though, is a ticket-only thing, although they're expecting huge crowds on the Mall.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Thanks, Todd. My sister will be so psyched.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Happy birthday, Hil!

Does anyone have any suggestions for recent biotech articles (at a NYT reading level) that would be interesting for high school students to discuss?

Not Exactly Rocket Science is my favorite Biology-centric blogs, and has links to lots of good recent articles.
