Joyce: Dawn, you be good. Xander: We will. Just gonna play with some matches, run with scissors, take candy from some guy, I don't know his name.

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

shrift and I are both going to be in NYC the week before Christmas. We were talking on Facebook, and it looks like we are both free on Dec. 16th. Trudy mentioned that this show was happening that night in Chelsea, and since it involves Arthur Darvill, it seemed relevant to our interests, and maybe those of other Buffistas. The three of us were thinking of going...Scola, Jess, you up for it?

If not, maybe we could meet for dinner before, or drinks after. Or find another night. I know that I am booked the 17th and 18th in the evenings, and I'll be on Long Island on the 21st, and I'm leaving on the 22nd.

Just wanted to get the conversation started!

What day do you get here?

I'm arriving on the 15th, but I've got plans that night with T and G before they leave for Mississippi.

If you're not free on the 16th, I will be in Brooklyn on the 17th and 18th, I've just got tickets to shows both of those nights. But the show on the 17th doesn't start until 10:30, and the Night Vale reading on the 18th probably will only last an hour or so.

Night Vale is sold out, but I definitely could meet up with you at the Bell House before/after the show.

Cool! Let's plan on that. I'm going to the early show. Want to meet up after? Since I'm dogsitting on the UES, that will give me time to make sure everything is taken care of with the dog before the show.

Since the second show starts at 9:30, I'll definitely be done before then. Want to meet at 9:15?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm around that weekend! Bummed that the Night Vale reading is sold out, that would have been fun.

Great! What days/times are good for you? Unfortunately most of my weekend times are booked, except for Friday the 20th. But if you can get away on the 18th and meet up with me and Scola at The Bell House post-Night Vale show, that would be great! But I know it's hard on a work night with kids.

I can also do lunchtimes.

I'll be in NYC from the 15th to the 19th. My only free night now is Tuesday the 17th, so I'm going to buy tickets to Waiting for Godot with Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen if anyone is interested in joining me: [link]

Edit: I might be able to join on Wednesday night after my work event.
