Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

At the airport now. So sad.

The withdrawal is pretty rough.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

It really was. Especially when my flights were delayed. I thought "I could be drinking with Lee and Brenda!"

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

I will be in NYC next week! Anyone free Tuesday night? (I'm getting in late tomorrow night, but I'm going out to Smithtown to see my SiL and my nephew, and then to Mineola, but after that I'm staying in Yorkville for the rest of the week.)

I could also do Thursday, and I'm free during the day many days, but I know people have jobs. But lunch is good!

Tuesday I'm in the UES for therapy. That's where you're staying, right?

I look more rad than Lutheranism

SF-istas: we're renting a car (because it's pretty hard to get from the airport to Mendocino on foot), and our general plan is to return it once we get back to SF for the end of our trip, and take public transportation everywhere.

This is where I need to ask a big favor: we have to check out of our apartment by 11 a.m. Sunday the 13th, and our flight doesn't leave until 7 p.m. that evening. We need a place to stash our luggage until then.

Is anyone willing to be a waystation for nomadic Midwesterners for about 5 hours? Or at least our luggage? We'll buy you brunch/lunch/hookers. Well, maybe one hooker.

We're perfectly happy to take a cab to the airport, but would gratefully accept a ride if anyone wants to haul us. But that's a pain, so, seriously, we can cab it.

Thank you thank you thank you in advance.
