See you later! My cell is in the profile as well.
CP is mighty unlikely because they said quite clearly they were booked and their biggest table was for 8, and I think you are already at 8. Sooooo, unless they have a major change of heart, what is happening before/after dinner? I don't imagine we will get there until 4 or 5ish.
I will need to tap out for pre- and post- dinner plans. Before dinner, I am going to grab a beer with an old friend who flies in this afternoon, and after dinner, I am going to go home to see the old friend (who's crashing at my place) that lands while I'm at dinner.
FYI, during Saturday day, I'm going to a beer event at my bar: [link] I'll likely be there from 11-4. Sunday I have no plans as of yet, because I need to gauge the amount of hangover I will have in order to make any.
Eeeeeeeee! So exciting.
Laura, if you guys eat seafood, I'd recommend checking out Peche in the Warehouse District. It is AMAZING. I can offer other suggestions as well.
I'm pesca, Nora. So that is likely perfect.
About to shower, get dressed, and hit the road Southward here. ETA 6:30pm or so.
Woo! Hey Matt, was it Tallahassee where you found good eats? We are getting ready to head out and the hotel fare was not interesting at all.
One of my favorite bands is at Tipitinas tonight but that might be too late or just too much after CP.
I hope to catch a nap at some point so I can go out later. Maybe upon arrival. We got to hotel 2:30ish and sleep was minimal and I still woke at 6. Brain busy.
The Big Playback Band? [link] It's local DJ legend Soul Sister's birthday bash tonight and it will be a lot of fun if you're up to it. It's an easy cab ride from CP.
Oh whoops, the band I was thinking of is tomorrow.
If anyone's around, I'm having a late lunch at SoBou. My Brooklyn friend Abigail's shift starts at 2.
