But Lee, one of them might be mysteriously injured. You have to come!

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.
They're in for a treat, Anne. You're an amazing hostess.
Sorry I missed the updates earlier in the day, but I just got in. Enthusiastic yays to the tomorrow night slounging plan!! (And deep sighs to missing Lee, whom I must meet at some point.) Closer to 7 will probably be better for me. Hec, I'll text coordinates in the morning.

That's fine! Sunil, you can still come by at 6:30 if you like.
Perhaps I will! Or perhaps I won't. I'm a wild card like that.

If you come early you'll have first crack at the following: chocolate chip cookies, hummus (for assaulting Mayors), drawing time with Matilda, a personalized tour of Matilda's toys, seeing Emmett glancing up from his iPhone.
I'm back from my fourth-consecutive-year trip to Oregon in July, and am besotted with McMenamins Edgefield. If someone would be so kind as to remind me where we have the photo list, I'll post my photos of the place.
It would be a wonderful place to have a F2F IMHO. It's in Troutdale, 17 miles east of Portland, near the beginning of the historic road along the Columbia River Gorge (as you go east). It has hotel and hostel rooms, for varying abilities to pay ($30 for hostel), many restaurants and bars, several music spots, gardens, an outdoor spa/soak, a small golf course, and it's filled with interesting, eccentric, and beautiful art. It's the old Oregon State Poor House, which the McMenamin brothers saved from destruction and rehabbed. Here's a photo of the signpost to the various buildings. It's a great place for people of all ages: lots of young folks, people with kids, old-ish folks like me, even older folks. I love this place! McMenamins has several hotels in Oregon and Washington. I've only been to Edgefield and the Hotel Oregon in McMinnville; there's one called the Grand Hotel towards the OR coast that looks like a fun spot, too, but this place is just great. Okay, I don't know how to put a personal photo on here, sorry.

Amy, check in! I need to go get you soon and I don't know where your hotel is.
Did she get hold of you, Hec?
I have it on good authority that he did.
