Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.
I'm sorry the rest of you couldn't make it, but I had a lovely evening with shrift.
OK, my bestie and I are going to San Francisco, it looks like, the weekend before Labor Day. Where are the buffista-recommended places to stay? We'll be hitting up Nordstrom and Tomboy Tailors, looking for a wedding outfit for her, but also doing touristy things, because she's never been to the Bay Area.
Well, I had a fantastic meal at 9:30pm of Beefaroni and plastic one-cup bottle of wine.
I'm glad we had dinner! That flatbread with chicken, goat cheese, greens, and blueberry sauce was pretty great.
Edit: aww, Scrappy.
The road trip is ON!!! We will be in SF Tuesday, July 30th - Friday, August 2nd, hopefully staying at my dads. We are still noodling out plans - we want to go up to the wineries one day, play SF tourist including doing the night tour of Alcatraz, go to an A's game Friday night, and who knows what else. If anyoine is available during the week, day or evening, and would like to join us, please let me know.
SO excited!!!
I will be around!
Before Suzi returns to the Bay, we're getting a visit from our beloved Amych.
She's going to be in SF from the 25th to the 30th but busy at the WordPress Camp until that Sunday evening 7/28.
She's staying in the Mission so I thought Buffstas could meet her there for dinner that night. Yay? Nay? Who's available? Who's interested? Where should we eat? (I've already promised her Bi-Rite Creamery for dessert.)
On Monday I'll be tourguiding her about the City a bit, but we'd also like to meet people for lunch that day if you think your schedule might accommodate it.
Where should we eat?
Curry Up Now!
I am all about the Mission, so I am up for amych in the Mission.
Actually going to be there 7/25-7/29 (the 30th being the day my ticket says I get home. stupid redeye. I never know WHAT day it is by the end of that mess.)
But that still means Monday is totally an option for flex-schedule-y or lunch-near-downtown people!
