Oh my god, that sounds delicious.
F2F5: I forget that everyone isn't us
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.
OMG, that does sound amazing.
I am holding on quite strongly to "In two weeks I will be in Mexico on vacation. Two weeks. TWo weeks"
How long is it going to be around, Vortex? I think we need to plan an excursion.
I think that it's a one night thing, unfortunately.
that's when you buy a copy of any book about a serial killer at the airport bookstore, and some post it flags.
Thanks for the update, Vortex!
I expect it's a longshot, but there's a good chance I'll be in Helene, Montana for a conference in July. Any MT Buffistas about?
I am from Penna. and I had to look up where Bethlehem is. Aha! In case PA is of interest, Pittsburgh is quite beautiful.
The Sayulita stuff was amazing to me, because my sister lives there and runs her vacation rental flats. Looks like no one is staying at her place. That would've been kind of weird actually. But I feel I should put in a good word for her places. Here they are: [link] Her links to Info, Dining, and Activities are not house-specific, so you may want to browse.
Found a photo of my sister, at the bottom, in the middle. Looks like her work crew? Unsure. She goes by Tuck. [link] She's a lot skinnier now and is wearing a lot of Title 9 surf clothing sent to her by yours truly. Say hi if you run into her. By the way, that page is her "directions" info page and the bus to Sayulita is just ridic easy and so cheap. Cross the ped overpass from the airport (be sure to get pesos inside the airport) to the bus area (and if you are hungry, have the marlin burritos over there by the buses - usually works well for lunch before the flight back to US) and hop on the Sayulita bus. Takes about 45 mins. Cost about $5 instead of $30-70 US for a cab. Stops at the Sam's Club in PV if you need to buy anything at a big-box store on the way.
Costs about $2, actually--25 pesos, last year. And yes, very easy.
That would've been very funny if we were staying at your sister's place!
Now that I can sit up and don't feel horrible, the posts above got me thinking - meara and brenda and bonny and anyone else - is there anything cool that we definitely should do in Sayulita? Or places to see? Mostly I just want to enjoy the sun, but you never know??
