I thought I would let everyone know that I will be in Sayulita from March 24-27. I found two friends to go with me and we are doing a girl's weekend sort of thing. We picked those weird days based on airline costs. We are staying at www.playa-escondida.com IIRC, those dates didn't really work for anyone else, but I just mention because if anyone does want to come, let me know. I don't think we can fit more than 3 in a room, but there are other rooms!

I KNOW! The SO's tour dates are exactly during that trip. Today he said to me, "I think I have a plan for how we can manage the tour." I said, "Does it involve me going to Sayulita, Mexico and hanging out with my friends?" He was all, "Uh...it didn't. But it could!" Which is nice of him. But really I couldn't. But I WANT TO.
I actually got a bad case of wanderlust hanging out with my high level church buddies. They crack me up because they look so stodgy and midwestern, and they're really so well traveled. But somewhere in all the story-telling, I got caught up and remembered all the traveling I wanted to do. I'm happy to be doing the work I'm doing, and I'm glad it's stateside because it's logistically much easier. But man, I want to go bum around Europe; my friend is doing work in Aberdeen, and hang out with my buddy in Toronto, and he's going to South Africa, and I could go to Guinea and visit my family, except they're home now because of the civil unrest. And I know people in New Zealand and I want to go do tsunami relief work in Japan and and and.
Damn.
