Well, I think the official Buffista meet-up plan is going to be Friday night at 7pm at Holiday [link] for some bar-hoppin'. When are you coming in, Lee?
Saturday, I was thinking about XOCO for breakfast, and Publican for lunch. I have plans with an old college friend and his family at Suela's brother's restaurant Farmhouse Tavern for dinner, so I'll be otherwise occupied that evening.
Have the niece on Sunday, and may take her for deep dish pizza for dinner and Magnificent Mile window shopping in the day. Maybe the Zoo? (she's 18) I think Buffista company could be appropriate for Sunday stuff.
Trying to figure out the best time to take an architecture boat tour. I really should get on that...
Lee, I can share my Google doc of notes and links if you like!
What weekend are you coming? Keep me in the loop on plans!
My plane lands a little after 1:15, so I can totally meet up with you all on Friday! Saturday breakfast and lunch sound good too
I want to fit in a visit to Suela's brother's restaurant, if I can. Maybe Sunday lunch, if people would be interested, and then we can meet up with Nora, or we could go for dinner after Sunday with Nora?
Absolutely, on the google doc! Thanks!
eta: November 9-12, Chikat!

Nora, they have a noodle soup with pork belly that is out of this world.
Also, friend L from my birthday is hinting at another NO trip. She sent me this today [link]

You don't really have to book ahead for that outside of St. Pats or Chicago marathon weekends.
Aurelia, are you working on anything/know of any plays that I might still be able to get tickets to?
You're missing the window for Goodman shows but Steppenwolf, Lookingglass, and Chicago Shakes all have very good buzz on their currently running shows. I'm hoping to catch those shows, myself. The pre-Broadway Kinky Boots is running. I've got two shows that I designed opening tomorrow (if you'd rather see small, no-budget theatre) at Prop Thtr and Lincoln Square Theatre. The caveat on those is that one show has an okay cast and the other one has an okay script.
Hot Tix is good for last minute tickets but sell outs do happen.
Do people want to plan a dinner somewhere for Saturday and/or Sunday? Will there be snow?
I'm game for Saturday. Sunday we're focusing lights for A Christmas Carol. There will be snow on stage, but I certainly hope not outside.
Hmm. Would you be interested in seeing a show on Saturday? Would other Chicago people be interested in joining us?
Okay! We have a plan for Saturday the 10th, or at least a partial one.
Who wants to go see a show at Steppenwolf, Lookingglass, or Chicago Shakes with us? Maybe dinner (SUSHI) before hand?
Kinky Boots closes next weekend so you'll miss that one.
