Matilda and I had Msr. Scola over for omelets and checking out the Roku offerings. Then we walked down to the Inner Sunset, checked out the comic book store where Matilda was deeply intrigued by a collection of earliest Wonder Woman comics ("She's always getting tied up! First it was ropes then it was chains...")
Went to Tart to Tart and I had a key lime tart and Matilda had a cookie. Stopped by Le Video to peruse the options then to GG Park and the playground and dropped Tom off at his hotel to give him a breather before he heads downtown to meet Lee and several other Buffistae (-t, juliana...).

The duck-fat fried Tater roots were delicious. And smonster called st the end of dinner and revealed she would new coming to KC for my baddy part, which is very exciting!

Chicagoistas, I will be in your town from Aug. 29-Sept. 3 for Chicon. My schedule is a mess (also panic-inducing), but I'd love to see you if we can find some good times.
