I KNOW, java! I was at the table with a whole bunch of wonderful Buffistas today, but didn't even get to speak with all of them.
F2F5: I forget that everyone isn't us
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.
So sad to miss brunch, but am glad that a good time was had by all. If a group does form to see Magic Mike, I might be down. No better crew to see it with, that's for sure. Enjoy the Observatory!
Scrappy, I'll be back down again soon. And I have to add that as disappointed as I was not to meet you, I finally got to meet the Twins of Awesomeness (oh my lord those children are charming and beautiful beyond belief), epic tangent (who is hilarious and possesses dynamic cleavage that comes with a knife!), and Kat Perez (and her Tony) who is beautiful and sweet and all good things.
It was really nice to see everyone again, and I am so thankful I got the chance.
A smaller group (we are down to 11 now) is at Griffith Observatory. We lose several more people in a few hours. How can it be almost over already??
The last batch of pictures is going up: [link]
Gonna hit tender greens for an early supper in about 20....21 flavored after if time permits. And time must permit.
I'm home. It was great seeing everyone. Hanging out. And chatting the night away! Now, I will sleep. No clue why I was up at 8am. Pfft.
Here's the link to the pics I took with my iPhone and iPad. [link] Some cute ones. I think my fav is "we can see you" [link] Which was me sitting in the living room side of the suite, and snapping a pic over the half wall at the ladies lounging on the bed.
Safe travels for all those flying out of our back yard. Y'all come back now, y'hear?
looked at lots of pictures
we're very pretty
So many lovely people!! I'm almost bummed I never played any games, but we were having so much fun just sitting around and talking that there wasn't any need to find other diversions. I would apologize for my relative lack of filter, but hey, it makes for some interesting conversation topics ;P
ION, Burbank airport totally wins for having ZERO lines this evening. Like, nothing at all. I walked right up to the counter to check my bag, then walked right up to a the ticket-checker who seemed to be waiting for me. Then moseyed leisurely to an empty screening line. Went through the whole security shenanigans (taking off shoes and jacket, removing liquids and laptop and putting them in own trays, getting it all on the conveyer belt, then through the scanner) without a single person in front of me or behind me. That has NEVER happened to me. Ever. Not any one part of that, much less all three. Win! Of course now I'm regretting repacking so quickly because I neglected to move my laptop and nook charger into the carry on from checked...so fingers crossed for no missed connection because I only have one hardcover book and a phone for entertainment once this laptop battery conks in about 10 minutes. Miss everyone already!!
Love Burbank airport.
I would apologize for my relative lack of filter
It's endearing.
