Mal: Well, you were right about this being a bad idea. Zoe: Thanks for sayin', sir.

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I have to get my expense reimbursement check before I can book anything! Next week, I hope.

I'm definitely attending (the room Polter-Cow and I are sharing is one of the ones already booked). I'll send my prom contribution in Friday once I get paid.

information libertarian

I will be in NYC for a conference May 30-June 3! I'll be staying on the UWS and the conference is on the UES. I like to eat, walk, and go to museums. Best times to meet up might be Weds. May 30 in the afternoon/evening, or brunch on Sunday June 3? (I'll need to make time to see my brother and his fiancee too.) Any advice on the best way to get from Laguardia to the UWS also appreciated (I have never been to LGA!)

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

flea, I would be good with either of those days!

LGA to anywhere is taxi, unfortunately.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I could definitely meet up on that Wednesday. Sunday would be a maybe for me.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

I intended to come to this year's F2F in Pasadena, and I still hope to be able to come, but I won't be able to book either room or flights until next week at the earliest. Uncertainty at work combined with family suddenly talking about coming to visit in mid-June are making it difficult to commit to a plan.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

eep - my job has been consuming all available time and I haven't had a chance to make any plans. I will be in San Francisco starting the afternoon/evening of Sunday May 20, leaving Thursday morning. I would love to get together with any Buffistas who have free time - I actually don't have any firm plans for anything. Meals, visits, coffee ... the only caveat is that my body will probably be on Eastern time for the entire visit so I'll start falling asleep early.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I'd be pretty available on Tuesday, Todd.

I could come by and collect you for breakfast at Zazie and then I could drive you around to explore the City a bit.

That would be lovely! Can Matilda come too? maybe as a guest I can get her access to spank the statue .... (it can be a new euphemish for the Buffistas!).

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Can Matilda come too?

She's still in school. But if we poke around all day, you can come with me to pick her up and come over to Chez Zmayhem if you don't have other plans that night. I know JZ will want to see you.

Or you could take a break in the late afternoon if you want to decrompess/desocialize and we can get back together in the evening.

I'm easy. But plan on breakfast and we'll drive to various parts of the city and get out and go to bookstores, antique shops, etc. Eventually we'll have lunch and we can play the afternoon by ear.
