Matt, why Friday or Sunday, not our traditional Prom night extravaganza?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I'm up for all three of those, space-time continuum allowing.

Well, it's in Hollywood about 20 miles from the hotel, and the restaurant doesn't open until 5:30, and the meals there take a looong time - like 2 1/2 hours if everyone is having fun. I didn't think people would want to be rushed, or miss the first part of prom.

The status is NOT quo.

Hm. Maybe we should do the BBQ as a Saturday afternoon/early evening thing before going back to the hotel and getting ready for Prom. Then we could do the restaurant Friday night...?

meara, I'd totally be up for dinner next week. Yay!

Also, woo, F2F! Thanks for organizing, Kristin.

Yay amyth and calli! I'm supposed to be staying at the Hyatt House near the airport. But I still haven't gotten any sort of "this is what time things start! we'll be doing dinner on this day!" type stuff. Dinner Sunday would probably be do-able...and I'm hoping to get to the grocery store at some point, but not before I figure out what they're feeding us and when we have dinner plans!

For the record, I absolutely love the Queen Mary. I just know too well my usual gronk the morning after Prom. Still...even if ND doesn’t go, I might be tempted.

Don't change plans because of my dinner thing Kristin. That should work just as well on Sunday if the folks who are interested are still around. I definitely don't want you and ND to have to deal with the logistics of hosting a BBQ and setting up/taking down the prom sound system on the same night.

I hear ya. And I don't disagree with ya. I fear waking up in time as well.
