If I can make it, I know I wouldn't consider the experience complete without a Matilda sighting.

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.

H'm. Let me ponder. The thought of solo debauchery is intriguing, but the thought of less debauchery and more sharing the experience and all the good hearts of the Buffistas with Matilda (and Matilda with Lily and Emeline and any other available sprog) is very tempting. And with the F2F where it is, travel time would be not-miserable and we wouldn't have to contend with jet lag.
Must ponder more.
On the one hand, I feel pretty sure all of us would freaking love to meet Matilda in person. But on the other hand, we all love you and want to have you have an awesome time too. So I'm saying go with your gut. I totally support the notion of grownup time sans bebe, if you are so inclined, and there will be no lack of people wanting to talk & dance & laugh & imbibe with you sans baby, but equally there'll be no lack of people delighted in having the chance to dote on wee 'Tilda. Also, playdates and potential babysitters (as well as the gazillion Buffista uncles and aunties).
So - don't let guilt weigh with you, in either direction. Not that I think you are, but just in case. Um.
MAN, I hope you get to come.
Let me put it this way, honey. The last two F2Fs you attended you were in bed by 10pm anyway, and far from doing any debauching. In fact, debauching is one of your least good skill sets. You are exceptionally good, however, at playing with children, leading tea parties and traipsing through the park.
Never mind. Don't want to add to any conflicted feelings.
Plus, we don't know what JZ is capable once she gets a night of kid free sleep and knows that she can sleep in the next day, too? Look out below!
I'm prerrt sure my finances wouldn't cover it, but fill me on on the deets for th F@F. Seattle, right? I got a good friend in Seattle, so I wouldn't need a hotel.
What are the dates? I've never been there, and I would LOVE to go!
Hmm. Maybe, if I were very careful, and could crash at friends a couple nights, and then huddle in a corner of some kind person's rooom at Prom, I think I can save enough money by June.
I haven't been to a F2F for a while, love me some West Coast ffistas (whom I have not seen in fr too long ) and YAY FAY. And it would be fun!!!!
All I know is I want at least one Zmay of whatever description. You feel free to work out amongst yourselves which one that should be. And if we score the trifecta, that'll just be swell.
My logic - with the caveat of not being a parent - is that if you bring a kid your attention is divided between kid & Buffistas. No kid equals full attention on Buffistas!
While this is all good logic, I make no attempt at suggesting it truly weighs the pros & cons of introducing a kidling to the Buffista posse.
And Erin, the dates are posted right there near the top of the page. The hotel is currently not finalized.
