Yay for mini-F2F with dcp today. Did a little boating but the port engine didn't want to cooperate so we came back in. Short version, good weather, good food, good company. Sitting out on the deck catching up with technology now.
Wash: Little River just gets more colorful by the moment. What'll she do next? Zoe: Either blow us all up or rub soup in our hair. It's a toss-up. Wash: I hope she does the soup thing. It's always a hoot, and we don't all die from it.

Thanks, Laura. I had a good time. It was a nice, quiet, relaxing day off , in good company. Much needed, because while TDY to south Florida in winter is nice, the work has been hectic and the hours have been long.
I posted a few pictures to Flickr, will add to the set tomorrow, or when I can. Haven't found a Flickr app that works well with my tablet yet.

Whee! I just made reservations to arrive in Chicago on 3/16 and depart 3/18. Spending this anniversary at the Swissôtel. Chose that one because DH has had good experiences with them in Quito a couple of times. We had a great visit with them with the boys a while back. The coolest thing about the room we had was the quantity of books in a wide variety of languages. The rate is only $140 a night incl tax, which I think is pretty good. I know it is 6 weeks away, but I have been working the long hours and seriously need a break. (so overworked I am 950 posts behind in Bitches!)

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.
Spending this anniversary at the Swissôtel.
I went to a business conference at that hotel in Chicago a few years ago. It was wonderful.
