Angel: Eve. So, I guess we should, I don't know, talk? Eve: About what? Angel: About what happened back there with us. Eve: Angel, it's not like this is the first time I've had sex under a mystical influence. I went to U.C. Santa Cruz.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Dur. Thanks, P-C: need more coffee....

The status is NOT quo.

Java, you asked about changing the date. I could propose a second weekend and we could vote between them if Pasadena wins. The tricky part for me is that any weekend before that one I'm tied up in schoolwork, and any weekend after that I run the chance that Drew will be out of town and prices may go up as more schools get out. I think he most likely will be there the following weekend, so we can look at that. Let's see where we are when the votes close next week.

For the record, though, we've had birthday Buffistas at F2F before, and it's a pretty fun way to spend your day. :-)

Oh no prob. I figured since it looks pretty clear that Pasadena will be the locale, that date choices would be interesting. It's not a personal request since the date works for me. (I edited my previous post once I realized the poll was already up.)

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

So, what you're saying is that it's really no problem?

(I have no horse in this race. I highly doubt I'll be able to make it, which sucks but June always presents conflicts.)

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I held a conference at Asilomar about three years ago. There was no television at all, and wifi is only available in the lodge. I have no idea if that was already a known variable, but it's an FYI. Unsure if they have changed.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Apparently there are limited phones, too. Judging from the website, things haven't changed much, Allyson. It's very much a bubble outside the world.

I don't know if it's mass-Buffista like.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I go there every year for a conference, and, yes, there are no TVs or phones in the rooms. Or Internet, except in the lodge, as far as I know. But you do get a fireplace.
